The Akrapovic slip-on system is a parallel line to the bolt-on series and is based on a simple replacement of the stock muffler together with the link pipe. The rest of the stock system remains untouched. The muffler is attached to the exhaust system with a link pipe. This link pipe is available in stainless steel or titanium. Special silicion shielded springs are used to attach the muffler to the link pipe.
